Troy Williams will get a roster spot and hopefully all of Hill's minutes

I agree. But it's easy to jump to the conclusion that Troy Williams is really good after nailing all those shots at the end of the game. Either way the fact that we are even talking about Williams taking Solo's minute says a lot about Hill.

My big takeaway is that FJ, Diallo, and JJ are all significant in that they bring energy/enthusiasm/effort. Outside of AD & Jrue, no one else showed that energy/enthusiasm/effort to date. Diallo I don't think should play a lot of minutes, but if we look flat, stick him out there for 5ish minutes, have him run around, make the Wakanda forever symbol, and sit him down before he fouls out in the next minute. It'll pump some life into the second unit. JJ is just a smart basketball player. He's a leader on the floor and knows where he needs to be. The team just looks more fluid with him in. FJ might actually contribute. He's got a high motor and is pretty fearless. But his quickness is what sets him apart.

I know its just a preseason game. I don't care about the score, I just want to see effort. You saw it when JJ, FJ, Diallo, Green, & Troy Williams were on the court at the end of the game (FJ was +7, Green was +9, & Williams was +14).

Havent been able to watch games so no "eye test", but has Darius Miller been playing as well as the box scores suggest?

I’m questioning whether Diallo should make the team. Imo his spot would be better filled by a veteran defensive center who can do the dirty work and take some blows against the big boys for the top 3 bigs. That defensive guy and okafor compete for small minutes left depending on the situation of the night.

So basically what the other Okafor was

He is 10-13 on three pointers in 2 games, which is unreal. I saw the first game and he looked confident shooting and wasn't hesitant.

Miller has looked confident, which is good.
Randle has looked really good in transition.
Payton is getting to the rim and finishing.

what is concerning, and i know it's just preseason, but we look like we could care less about playing defense. All we want to do is get the ball and push the pace on offense.
It's also concerning that we've started off the last few years horribly, and dug ourselves in holes, and looks like we could be headed towards that again if this is how they are going to come out, at least defensively.

We are the only team to not win a game in the preseason thus far.
That being said, Boston and GSW are 1-3, so who cares about the preseason.

Troy Williams has been solid on both ends of the floor. He should occupy Diallo's roster spot. I love Cheik's energy and enthusiasm, but he's not today's NBA power forward.
