No, we lost because Boogie loses his composure constantly.

Awarding him free throws on that is fricking bullshite. He was not attempting a shot.

Whenever we play the Rockets it helps illustrate to me how fricked the discrepancy in the way the game is called for perimeter players and big men in this league.

Why is the "over-compensation" that refs apply to offensive low post big men not equally applied to flopping perimeter players????? That possession where Harden swings to get three followed by the mauling of Cousins down low illustrates it perfectly.

One gets the easy whistle and 3 free throws, Cousins has the whistle swallowed.

Same goes with the offensive fouls, Harden and CP3 both should of had offensive turnovers from traveling multiple times tonight, meanwhile our big men like Cousins get slapped with travels and looked the other way when their arms are slaped and grabbed on drives constantly.

It is really just frustrating the way the norms of officiating seem to be designed to make the rich richer and the poor poorer. Giving the leeway almost exclusively to the players that need it least.

....Rant over.

Basketball is the worst sport on the planet and the refs are the reason. Everything is a foul, but you can walk all over the place

lol

Need to score fast...dribble for 20 seconds and then turn it over. Every game it seems like we do this.

You see it, but the skirt wearing fans don't see it though. Rather talk about how he needs to be calm and take his licking. Shameless. If we had a coach that cared he'd be advocating like Phil did for Shaqs big arse

I dont care if Boogie is our superstar

Etwann Moore and Jrue Holiday should've had the ball in their hands the fourth quarter

No clue why we tried to play through Boogie when we knew they werent calling fouls

I dont hate cousins at all, i think occasionally when he's not getting calls, he tends to be detrimental to the team

In the last 3 minutes of a close game, he attempted shots while double teamed (could have gotten fouled, but werent called fouls) then bitched out the ref and didnt get back on defense while the rockets scored

If AD did that I'd be pissed at him too, not just Boogie, but Boogie happens to do it more than most people

Pels, without their best player, on a road SEGABABA, played a close game against the best team in the NBA. Obviously the defense was bad, but I don't have many complaints other than that. Getting a legit body/defender back in Solo will be big. We desperately need another legit big to take pressure off Boogie/AD, but if we think that we can re-sign Cousins (and I'm thinking that's more and more likely given his extremely inconsistent play), then waiting until next season/offseason to make that move isn't the end of the world. Asik and Ajinca will be more dealable.

people keep pushing this narrative tonight, and i don't see it. in the first half, he got really pissed after Clint dunked over him and then held his crotch on Boogie's head. he had a right to be pissed. Clint should have gotten a T there. and then he lost his shite on the other end of the floor when ariza held him.

after that, he calmed down a lot. there was 1 no call in the 4th he got upset but then got down the floor. all in all i think he really held it well together tonight.
