Zion is so scared of getting called for a touch foul that he's handicapped at defending jumpshots. And Randle does a good job and sticking his body and arm out on his follow throw making it easier to foul him.

It’s more like I said, I know x isn’t true but it might as well be true. Honestly just really weird that someone would go pull stats for one game to try and disprove a statement that was never said as a matter of fact but as a general statement.

Refs completely changed the tone of that quarter. Zion taking 3s because he’s not getting calls in the paint is the obvious sign.

Yeah it’s always a bad bet to bet against Zion imo.
You will probably be able to finish the season counting on one hand the games Zion actually had a truly “bad” game by most standards.
He’s even shown he might have a first half that’s bad and then end up with 35 points on 60% shooting at the end.

He’s already one of the 20 best NBA players in the league at 20, and by all accounts he’s one of the hardest and smartest workers on the team.
