I wasn’t sure if I was gonna be able to make the practice or not, and when I tried to get some it said sold out.

I messaged my ticket rep, and he’s getting me a pair.

A practice is sold out?! The city is buying in sons.

I wonder how many tickets for this constitutes a Sell Out?

5,000?

yeah, I'll be interested to see how many people will be there. It should be a fun time.

Are the Pels giving away free money? The lines look crazy.

Here's what the line outside the SKC looks like right now ahead of today's open practice

Remember how many people came to the open practice Zion rookie year. Some don't understand the draw Zion is just by himself, it sucked his all star year no body could go to the games. The blender we be packed all season long.

Was EJ in attendance? I hate that we don't get any news on him.

he was there and they did the rookie hazing thing (stupid costumes, karaoke, hit dog eating contest)

he’s rehabbing with the team at the team facility. that’s all there is to report. He’s not going to play this year anywhere and likely won’t get a contract until the end of the year.

not sure what else there would be to report on

I’m curious about the mechanism they are using to handle his rehab and be with the team. Have they tendered him an offer(that he won’t sign until later in the year) and it was never reported. How is he going to pay for living in New Orleans this year? A loan from his agent?

Maybe it’s better for the team if nobody asks these questions, but it seems like to be with the team and get treatment from the team you need some sort of contract, like Brockington got with the brief 2way.

I doubt there’s anything untoward going on. His medical bills are being paid by the team and I assume they can pay for housing and whatnot as part of that. Other than that it’s kinda none of our beeswax

clearly EJ is fine with it

There should be some mechanism where he can get paid not to play for this injury year. He was playing NBA basketball when he got hurt. I guess I am just more curious than anything in how everything works. I am glad he was with the team.
