I'd go to Toronto if I were Finch.
You're with one of the best HCs in the league who you know values you. As opposed to being cobbled together on staff here, by Griffin, on a team with a new coach, for an organization that doesn't seem to see you as HC material.

Agreed, unfortunately.
I think this hire gives a pretty clear pathway for Finch to move on from New Orleans. One that honestly makes the most sense. As he both gets to work with someone we know he respects and it puts him on the respected organization and would likely catapult him up the list in the next round of coaching hires next year.

Indiana was the last rumored spot for D'Antoni, right? It's now wild that he stepped down from the Rockets and likely will only be an assistant (Nets rumor currently).
