Our primary concern going forward has to be the lack of shooting right?

Our current projected 4 starters are all sub-par 3 point shooters. That is very far from ideal to work with Zion and in the modern era. There’s a lot of positives in the lineup, but spacing/range shooting is not one.

You have to think that Griff’s primary roster construction goal going forward has to be shooters shooters shooters. We need guys that can break the zone up.

We need Ingram to pick up where he left off post ASB.

Would be nice if Jrue could return to his 2017 shooting.

The bench is promising with Hart/Etwaun plus adding someone like Hunter at 4

Kenrich has some potential as a stretch 4 I think

Jah/Wood should be fine at backup C

That plus getting a "stretch 5" would alleviate the spacing issues a lot

A true 3 point threat and we are a playoff team IMO. The only negative about Lonzo on this team is that he can’t shoot.

If Lonzo remembers how to shoot, this deal goes from solid to amazing.

A lot depends on how they project Ingram/Ball and even Zion. If they think they can get those guys to just be 36% 3pt shooters on decent attempts, no worries.

But if not, they probably will need to flip non-Zion pieces at some point. Zion, Holiday, Ingram, Ball is a really interesting core and can do a lot of different things. But it's not sustainable in the long run until a couple of them prove they can hit consistently from deep

This is partially why if we are drafting to keep the pick, I'm not a big fan of selecting Culver.

IMO, u need a minimum of 3 guys on court that can reliably knock down 3s and preferrably more. It also helps to have your starters shoot better than 70% from the charity stripe. I dont see Ball and Ingram coexisting very well. Ship Lonzo for a better shooting PG and find a stretch 5. That would put the Pels in an enviable position

If they keep the pick, logically it would seem Reddish would be the target given he provides what the current roster is lacking, 3pt shooting.

Garland seems like he can stroke it.

Miles ahead is correct. Does Phoenix want Lonzo for the sixth pick? If they do then make the trade and draft Coby White or my pick would Cam Reddish.
