It has sucked balls to watch this team at times. Lack of talent and direction killed me. Now.....its so much more rewarding to have this success from the struggle.

You act like us Hornicans are long time suffering when we have been in the playoffs 7 times compared to only 9 times out. We have old fans and some new ones now. All the merrier.

Wasn't the coiner of Sons called BRHornet or HornetBR? Pretty sure it was something Hornet + BR and maybe a number.
It was something that started out as annoyingly stupid, but people kept saying it enough it's become one of those stupid things you love like Left Shark.

This has been amazing. All the bad injury luck and shitty years have been worth it. And it's not just the excitement of this playoff run. It's the fact that the future looks so bright with Jrue and AD locked down and Boogie likely to re-up this summer.

Just don't feel like tonight is the night to differentiate between tiers of fans. I am so happy to see New Orleans come out in such strong support of the franchise. New fans made these home games thrilling and the organization needs their support going forward. Right now getting casual New Orleans fans invested in the Pelicans is one of the most important things this playoff run has done. Give the backhanded compliments to the new guys in the offseason when our bandwagon is at capacity (unless they come here and post about how we are better without Boogie and should use that money to sign someone else, then fricking light em up). And I likewise upvote you out of love and affection.

Haven’t posted much at all, but I’ve been going to about 10 games a year. Can’t really say I’ve seen tonight’s environment in the arena before. It was amazing.
Also, I wasn’t able to make it to the Spurs series that year. I imagine that was up there with tonight.
