Another argument I see is that we were "about to take" a deal from Portland with Miller, Pryz, Batum and Bayless. So that's the best deal we would probably get, so lets give them about the same.
First, I don't think we were about to take that deal.
Second, Bower isn't the GM any more.
Third, about 25 teams in the league are now making offers.

We were also apparently offered 2 2010 1sts and OJ Mayo by Memphis.
I'd consider taking Mayo, Xavier Henry, and a future 1st if they're still interested.
