New Practice Facilty Open and Holiday is in Town

i would totally understand not attending voluntary workouts if like this team was the same as last year or something like that. but when you have an entirely new roster and you need to build chemistry, it's pretty important to be there for a bit to start to get to know these guys.
maybe he has a legit excuse, though.

yep, especially when it seems like the rest of the team is making an effort to be there.

I wonder what Steimsma's reason is. I know the caoches aren't there, but you think he would be trying to put in the neceassary work to land a starting job.

They've been saying for the entire offseason that the plan was for him to be 100% by training camp. So he's got about a month
Morrow and Stiemsma are really the only guys without an "excuse." I can't really complain about guys missing voluntary workouts though. It is their offseason, and I've never liked the idea of mandatory, "voluntary" workouts anyway.
Props to the guys who are here. No issue with those who aren't.
