He's also playing with zero energy or urgency. On either side of the ball.

He's taken 29 shots and has 3 steals and a block.

Sometimes you're just wrong, man.

Taking 29 shots means nothing about urgency

True, but you can say that about 95% of teams that play Boston. Heck, I wouldn't exactly push back too hard if you said he was currently the best coach in the league over the last few seasons.

This has been happening to the Pels all season.

typical Holiday... shows up one night and fails to show the next! no consistency with him!!!!

It’s not just Holiday. This whole team is very inconsistent. You never know what you’re getting when you watch a Pelicans game. The team that can be the 2nd best team in the west all the way to a team that could get beat by the Suns.

How many times do you plan to quote the same post?

Anyone watching can see AD's energy level and sense of urgency. It's not there tonight. He's setting soft screens, not chasing offensive or defensive boards, jogging back on fast breaks, taking defensive possessions off.

He still AD though, he is a walking 30-10-4-2 player. That is what is both so enamoring and frustrating with the current situation. Which is far and away not on AD. This is not the AD we saw last season though. At least from a buy-in perspective. From a psychological perspective. The one that looked the happiest he ever had as a Pel. Playing his heart out almost every game, and when he is off, he was still out there cheering and playing the role of the vocal leader.

Dude. AD is far from the reason we lost tonight.

We still have to play Tim major minutes. Solo too.

We shot 7/24 from 3

Ian Clark and Niko are both broken.

Jrue had a bad game (probably because he's gassed)

You can hate on the guy that shot 50% and got 40, but blaming him first looks bad. He's out there banged up trying to play on a SEGABABA.

AND WE HAVE TO GO UP AGAINST PTAO

Where did I blame AD for anything? I'm just making an observation about how he is looking out there.

He seems disinterested, frustrated, and lacking the fire he had last season.....Or even to start this season. Does anyone here actually disagree? I'm not sure how anyone can watch this game and not think he was mostly going through the motions. Which as I said is still a 30-10-4-2 player because he is a top 5 player in this league.

He's still far and away the best player on this team. Far and away the only chance we have at the playoffs.

It's his fault every night!

He's so good and improved so much that he can be having one of his best statistical seasons while trying way less obviously.

The logic is so absurd. People just can't be discerning. They hear everyone else say the same thing and think it must be true, and just yell it from the rooftops despite it being just a very bad take that can't be backed up by anything but "he just is cause I said so."

Everyone should have seen that coming, that level of play was unsustainable, regression to the mean.

Are you serious? You're not watching all the games if you think that.

Can’t wait for Dell to cripple the franchise at the deadline.

As bad as it looks, we actually have a nice but of flexibility next offseason, but if this current group can't entice another piece in FA then Dell will almost have no choice but to try a major move before the deadline.

Besides. A pick in the 20s isnt that valuable.

Any reason why Gentry has basically phased Mirotic out?
