But those preseason games.
Honestly, had we beaten Utah, things really may have taken off. Likely not qualify for playoffs, but at least been in the mix longer and the fans wouldn't be as dejected. That game was just a kick in the nuts and we were too mentally fragile to handle it.
The Clippers just took their manhood away the next game. It was over at that point.

Maybe. But in hindsight, the Zion absence thing right before the restart probably was the beginning of the end. Maybe a Jazz game win propels us, but the way Zion looked out there, our playoff chances were over, even if we didn’t know it yet.
