Not long ago, in mid December, this team was 6-22. They are 16-9 since then. That 13 game losing streak is what will make the playoffs a difficult goal, but the 22-31 record is very deceiving. This is a good team and honestly my favorite overall roster we’ve ever had.

Next year will be fun. Everyone will (hopefully) be at full strength and the chemistry will work itself out. 5 seed at worst next year.

It's certainly the deepest roster the Pels have ever had. Probably by next year, it will be competitive against all but the very top teams.
They will need another stud or two to win a championship though...that may come from some of the young guys in a few years. They also should have sufficient ammo (players, picks) to bring a stud to town.

As always, we probably need one more piece. At most, two. But we’ve got a good group, no doubt.

It’s one of the deepest in the league fully healthy when vets like Etwaun can’t get steady minutes. We have 5 quality starters, 2 bench players in Redick/Hart that every team in the nba would want, Moore, one of the best raw prospects in the nba in Jaxson, and a stretch 4 that’s starting to figure this NBA thing out. Kenrich is solid as hell as that 11th.

Outside of Frank Jackson/NAW, no one comes off the bench that makes me go “uh oh”.

Let’s find a #8-9 on a good team backup 3 and a backup PG this offseason and run this bitch back with this squad. Reward Jrue, Redick, Favors for being just absolutely incredible veteran leaders and let them get to see the fruits of their labor when Jaxson has 15 more lbs, Zion gets in shape to a lean 275, Ball finally looks comfortable and confident, and Ingram, who just made a damn all star team.

I’m lowering my expectations until I actually see it happen. I feel like I tell myself what’s inside the quotes every offseason

Coming into the year most people were hopeful we’d make a run for the 8 seed. We’re basically doing that, and that’s with Zion missing half the damn season. If we keep playing the way we are now, we obviously would’ve made it had Zion been healthy all year.

Bonus that Ingram developed so much with Zion out, and hopefully Zion is set up now to avoid any major injuries. And if we don’t make it, we get a lottery pick that you have to be hopeful about with this front office.

There’s a a lot to be positive about.

That's mostly how I feel, but I think that Hart is our backup 3 and NAW will absolutely be that backup PG next season. NAW needs to add muscle to finish better in the paint, and he needs practice to learn not to make the risky pass, but he's got the talent to be successful, and he's clearly got the desire to learn and figure it out. We'll be able to count on him next season.

I understand the arguments for a Jrue trade, and I won't be upset if it happens, but I don't really see a need to trade Jrue this offseason, unless he wants one. We have so many players who are developing, and we have so many future assets that we don't need to make a big trade.

I mean, sure, if we get the opportunity to get Bradley Beal, we take it. But we don't have to make a move like that this offseason. We can just bring the same squad back and be a top-4 seed in the West and see how we do. Zion, BI, Lonzo, NAW, Hart, Jaxson, and Melli are ALL likely to be better players next year. We bring Didi in and (if we keep E'Twaun) likely cut two of Frank/Okafor/Kenrich to make room for two draft picks. We use another 2nd-round pick to draft-and-stash a player. The Bucks' 2nd-round pick is fairly worthless, so maybe we use it for someone that we sign to a two-way contract, or we use it to move up a spot or two.

i figured peak zion would attract perimeter free agent this summer.
If hes all that in 6 weeks that will be enough for guys to want in.
