He’s head of their analytics department, if I’m not mistaken. So probably not doing any coaching.

Ahhh. Sure looks like SPO has been listening to analytics. He will change the teams playing style or lineup with no second thought.

I think it’s the former. Since pretty much all of Lue’s interviews have been leaked. Which more tells me the LA press is that locked in, he is intentionally leaking it, or his people are incredibly leaky.
Same feeling I get with Kidd as things have gone on.
Frankly, same sense I get now with Doc as well.
The LA press seems to be very in tune with their teams and so you basically get a moment by moment of all their developments.

Could be the case. In NY or LA they are going to have journalists that ask questions, get inside sources, etc. Its competitive.
We are lucky that someone even mentions that we have a basketball team here.
But I do think this FO does play things VERY close to the vest.
However, Woj immediately mentioned Lue and Kidd as people we were interested in, and the only person we are known to have interviewed (twice?) is Ty Lue. So Woj clearly knew.
