Yeah, but if they would've gotten AD there's a chance they keep Luke into next season, see how they gel, then Lebron fires Luke by December. Now he's not even getting that long.

It's a shame that some obscure NBA rule is what held up getting this settled at the deadline. In a time when the NBA doesn't seem to care that stars tamper and collude to pair up to form superteams, there is a crazy rule that a team cannot trade for a star on a "Rose-rule" contract when they already have a player on that contract via trade. So, a team cannot trade for 2 of the players, but they can get together via a combination of trade and free agency. That rule literally removed the ONE team that could have helped us end this fiasco at the deadline.
