As long as he's willing to take the MLE and back-up Jrue then sure

I wouldn't be shocked if we at least pursued it. Last nights trade was one of those moves where Benson or Loomis basically said, "We're losing, we've got no one in the seats and Anthony Davis can't do this alone, fix it."

Demps knows his arse on fire and he needs to get serious about winning and who he brings in. If Paul hits free agency, you'd best believe we'll gauge his interest bc Paul wants a ring bad.

I'd take him back in an instant. At the time he forced his way out by trade, the NBA had owned the team for a while. And while the league owned the team, they were basically handcuffed on spending big money in free agents or making trades where Hornets would've been acquiring a big contract. There was no way they would be building any contender around CP3 until the ownership issue got sorted out....I don't blame him for wanting to be traded in those circumstances. He loved the city, just not the situation the team was in from ownership and management side.

At that point you'd just start counting championships.

Why wouldn't you? Dudes still one of the three best point guards in the game and would fit perfectly alongside Boogie and AD. Put personal issues aside. He'd make us one of the three best teams in the West.

Look no further than last season when Chris stutter stepped while in front of AD to draw a cheap foul and ended up hurting his knee.

Plus Chris has the same knee issue as Brandon Roy

The beautiful thing is we can see how well Jrue is going to play with these two for roughly 25 games(and more if we make the playoffs)

I think we will have a pretty good idea of the potential of this core by then and know what direction to go.

I'd rather eliminate CP3 from the playoffs each and every year and prevent him from winning a championship, but if he wanted to come back, I'd welcome him.
