Scott Kushner ? @ScottDKushner
I have been told by several people the NBA played a role in the decision for the Pelicans to play Anthony Davis for the remainder of the season.

Somebody needs to make Adam Silver clown t-shirts.

There’s a thousand ways to skirt around this. Pelicans organization has decided to play him.

Fine

He plays during tip off and is bench first time out. Or he is in at the very last play of each game

I don’t have a problem with this, as long as the ping pong balls are hitting the freezer.

And if he gets injured? Will the NBA make the Pelicans whole on lost value?

NFL franchises suspend players for conduct detrimental to the team. Fournette comes to mind.
Wish the Pelicans could do this. This is sketchy as frick. AD demands trade but wants to play to pad his stats.
I play him for 10 minutes a game if forced but the Players Union would destroy the Pels.

Exactly, NBA better hook us up with a top pick if he goes down.

Play him thirty seconds and let him ride the rest of the game if they’re going to be pathetic about it. That’s probably too simple a solution for this front office, however.

Volume 37 of 'Listen to McNamara instead of arguing with him, and you will know the future.'

A couple people made a bet with me in another thread for $50 I believe but I don't feel like going and finding that thread, so if those people can do the honorable thing and drop their emails in this thread, that would be great. Daddy needs a new mixer!

This is so dumb. It really is. I hope the Pels go scorched earth on Silver if AD gets hurt.

Yesterday a reporter on a local radio station (1280) stated the CBA prevents the Pels from benching Davis.

The NBA or the NBPA might force us to keep playing him but they can't dictate how much he plays. That will forever be an organizational and coaches decision. Play him Ian Clark minutes
