Saw this as well, but it was debunked pretty quickly. Neither side is too interested in it at the moment. But even if it was a high possibility, I don’t think they make that trade with the intention of trading with us after.

I’m intrigued by RJ possibly going to the Hawks. It’s a good fit.

But I’m going to be honest, I’m out on RJ Barrett. In looking even more into him, he lead the NCAA in offensive fouls, always pushing off of defenders with his off hand. And it stems from his lack of athleticism and ability to create space. That is only going to get worse.

Maybe 8 and 10 intrigues us, but if RJ isn’t worth it, then the Knicks offer really takes a dive.

Prince, 8, & 10 for 3 and Trier

Prince, Robinson, DSJ, Thomas, 8, 10, 2 Dallas 1sts for AD

Interesting...

Hell no, I would rather Trier over Prince..

A straight up 3 for 8,10 would be fine with me, then pick up Doumbouya and someone else

Great, now the prison guards are going to take away his phone. Should’ve been more subtle.

"Two nickels dont make a dime in the NBA". I heard that statement a couple days ago and i agree. Who you get in that 3rd spot is highly likely to be better than anyone you get at 8 and 10. This isnt the NFL. The talent drops steep after the 3rd pick.

Supposedly the Hawks really covet Reddish and there is very little chance he falls to 8. Barrett is being touted as a lead guard and the Hawks aren't taking the ball out of Young's hands..

Cavs have “supreme interest” in Barrett. Does Cleveland have anything that we’d want.

Maybe Knicks trade 3 for Cavs 5 and future 1st?

Not in this draft when comparing any of the first three picks to lower picks.

I mean just Google Hawks and Reddish. He is the guy they want. There are tons of reports about them wanting to move up. Now they are negotiating for the 3rd pick. Its not rocket science. The Hawks GM isn't afraid to make bold moves..

Honestly they don't even have to move up

He'll probably be there at 8 and he's been mocked to them

Barrett/Culver/Hunter will be picked ahead plus guys like Garland/White

I have no idea about the order right now. Guys are rising and falling like crazy. Rumor has Claxton as a top 10 guy now. Teams are going to fall in love with certain guys and do what it takes to get them. Happens every year..

The problem with a lot of "rumors" is that it is the job of teams to do due diligence to know what the full extent of their options are. Of course the Knicks are investigating that angle, and probably 50 others as well. Just like every other team.

With that said, I think picks 3-10 are all on the same tier, and that the benefit of being 3rd is that you get your top choice. If you don't have a top choice, you are better off with two at-bats instead of one. This would be the kind of 2-player draft to trade down from 3 to 8 and 10, I think.
