I mean, he just succeeded in getting his $80,000 salary converted into $1.4 million guaranteed.

When are all of OKC’s futures? They’re gonna have like 10 lottery picks in 25

Not sure a Pels fans site has an up to date list of OKC’s pick situation

Why are people downvoting the OP?

Likely the complaint about losing 2 guys who were unlikely in our plans going forward. Not the trade itself.

I think most people are fine with the small sacrifice (and the help of taking Miller which is why I think extra picks were involved).

Edit:
And now I see this was said on the next page. I'll see my way out.

I don't think she is trying to break the bank this year. This is still real world money and we still struggle to sell tickets.

One was the Cleveland 2nd, and the other I believe the Washington 2nd. Don't recall which year.

Edit:
I think they were both the 2021 picks.

Do you have a source handy?

It's almost impossible to find the specifics

Trying to find the original trade links with Adams. Harder to find them now.

I have this:

Pelican picks

That was our picks before the trade.

Edit:
Woj was saying the Charlotte 2023 and Washington 2024 2 days ago. Not sure if it changed. May have been fans assuming the 2 picks next year.

The Pels just replaced Jrue and Favors with comparable players in Bledsoe and Adams while adding 2 1sts and a pick swap.

This. Favors might be kinda done at this point in his career too. He does not seem like the same player anymore. So you can replace him with one of the better D-Centers in the league for that price? Hell yes. And you don't have to worry about getting him involved in the offense other than crashing boards and making cuts to the basket here and there. Leaves more opportunity for Zion IMO, because Adams has those 20/15 games in him if you ignore his ability to score.

Basically he's what we needed Robin "stone hands" Lopez to be when he was here, but instead he just dropped passes every time he had a clear path to the basket.

I don't see a better end of bench guy that can give some decent minutes here and there when needed than Kenrich, and Cheatham showed some promise last season when he played. I would've rathered swap Frank out with one of them.

Are you high? I know we are deep at guard but Frank is far more talented than both those guys put together

Anyone who thinks Frank Jackson is good at anything isn't watching Pels hoops. Dude is the definition of "average at best". Kenrich is a far superior player. I agree.

Frank just never developed. He had by far the worst statistical year on the team last season, with a negative 0.7 VORP.
