This is a level of stupid that no one should ever sink to. They took a call of a domestic disturbance and Hayes tried to prevent them from getting in when they arrived (reasonable suspicion), then got combative with the cops.
There is no way to defend this behavior.

This doesn’t help his case at all either by being uncooperative.
Damn, I really thought he matured. I guess the new tattoo turned him into a wannabe badass. Which he should have brought this attitude on the court and not off the court.

Yep. His dad is a long time nfl player/coach. His mom is one of the most decorated basketball player and cancer survivor. His sister is a D1 college athlete. Plus his girlfriend isn’t just some Instagram thot, her networth is around a million before Hayes.

Do we know if it was his house or just a house he was at? I guess if it’s his own house I’ll cut him some slight (ever so slight) slack for engaging with the police and want to know more about how everything went down.
If this isn’t his house and he decided to jump into a situation with cops rather than just stay out of it than this seems firmly in the “play stupid games” arena of bad police outcomes.
