Cops always charge people with as much stuff as they possibly can to intimidate them and encourage them to make a deal. If there were anything at all to substantiate a domestic violence charge, they would have hit Jaxson with it too.

Funny how your tone has changed quit a bit since the beginning of this thread. Almost like waiting for more info to come out was a good idea.

Everyone needs to calm down... It'll get pled down to a misdemeanor or he'll be in diversion. Lesson learned hopefully. He's young and passionate. Good traits to have if utilized in the right way.

I'd be willing to bet this actually makes him more focus for the season, all things considered. Griff seems like he forgives small stuff looking at the bigger picture and goal. Jax will apologize, be humble and everyone will move on. As long as he didnt really beat on his girl or whatnot, he will be fine.

Dude got "loud" and scared his girl from what is known thus far. Whatever with the cops is always some other story. Cop probably thought he would take down a big one and I for one look at the "fight" as Jax on them weights, getting stronger and feeling himself. Thats a good thing for our team.

Stop overreacting to a 21 year old making a mistake on his way to adulthood. He's a good kid. No more immature than most 21 yr olds. The difference is that his errors are highlighted bc of his staure. Figuratively and literally.

I’ve been on Team Jax is a good kid too. He’s just not as outwardly mature as maybe a Zion or NAW and that’s understandable and okay.

You gotta admit this entire thing is a bit alarming though and we can’t just blindly say he’s still a “good boy”, typical young guy that isn’t fully matured yet.

Most people manage to go through their lives without being arrested and/or putting an officer in the hospital for injuries.

I’m hopeful for the situation and hope it works out for Jax, his girl, the officer, the Pels, but I don’t think we know enough to say whether Jax was in the wrong or not at this point. I’m hoping. He really doesn’t seem like that guy. But, if cheating or alcohol or drugs were somehow involved, that tends to impact people differently. Maybe in that situation, Jax becomes unhinged and goes from typical immature young guy to a borderline thug. I know there are certain situations that might cause me to act a bit out of character.

I really hope this whole thing is just a big misunderstanding, but if it isn’t I hope Jax gets the help he needs. I think he comes from a good family and he has the potential to be a good dude. But the light turns on at different times for everyone. Sometimes people do need a legitimately scary wakeup call before making that final leap to being a mature adult.

Dude, I don't sit on a jury. And I am not a journalist, so I don't have any professional obligations here.

And I am still completely just making up guesses about what happened, because we don't actually know much more at all.

This is an anonymous discussion board. If you think that people should wait until all the facts come out before we speculate, you are in the wrong damn place.

So I can't decide what team I want to join,

The irrational, this isn't a big deal crowd, Jax is a good kid, with no actual idea what happened.

Or

The irrational, no reason Jax is still on the team, this was horrible crowd, with no actual idea what happened.

I keep going back thru the pages to see the story I missed reading some of these convicted posts one way or the other. We only know a couple of things, without a doubt its not good. However, we have no clue to the severity of bad

Cop in the hospital don't mean shite, especially after the January 6th hearing. Could be a paper cut the guy got from writing a ticket, but he will recall it as a fight for his life.

Join the side where this will get swept under the rug and Hayes is still on the team crowd. I have no clue what happened, but they are not going to allow this to get out of hand. Even if Hayes was the aggressor, very possible, this will get squashed.

Well, cop in the hospital still means something to me!

Jaxson Hayes is immature and may turn out to be another Griff whiff! Hope not. Time will tell.

It seems like the Pels take one step forward and two steps back.

eventually the defense attorney sees the body cam.

imagine a future wherein hayes puts on 20 lbs of muscle AND learns the entire offensive repertoire while in Angola: just a year.
they have hoops in the Angola yard?

Jaxson is one of my favorite guys on the team and I've defended him like hell ever since he's been on the team so I'm trying to be optimistic, but man nothing about this sounds good. Hopefully I'm wrong.

MM claimed the team isn't changing their plans because of this and they fully expect Jaxson to be with the team to start TC. Take that for what it's worth.

This happened in LA, not La.

And for those of your saying most normal people never get into situations with cops, well most people weren't dating an InstaThot with 3 million followers living in Los Angeles when they were 20. How far out of your normal behavior would you have gone had you managed to date one of those back then?

People hear "domestic disturbance" and immediately jump to the conclusion of domestic abuse. What's been released so far doesn't seem to fit domestic abuse, but it does fit a dumb 20 year old kid being overly protective of an out of his league girlfriend that didn't want the cops searching her house because she's a model in LA and had who knows what in there.

Maybe the damning evidence is waiting to be released, but what we've heard so far the only thing that Jaxson seemed to do wrong is get into a physical altercation with a cop. Not that that's nothing, but as long as he didn't seriously injure him, and it seems like that would have leaked by now if he had, this definitely seems like the kind of thing a millionaire that works for billionaires will walk away from.

So we now know for sure the team is changing their plans and he won't be with the team.

I don't see the felony charge being mentioned anymore.

From reading that, it seems like pretty much a nothing-burger that will be soon forgotten.

ETA: I always think it's funny when the only charge in a case is resisting arrest. Why were you trying to arrest me in the first place, if I wasn't doing something else that I can be charged with?

Last paragraph is where he’s going to get off on this. He’ll invoke the George Floyd angle and they’ll settle.
