re: It’s do we want Tatum or RJ Barrett
Boston needs to find a way to get us Ja and Tatum otherwise the Knicks seem like the more attractive package.

Barrett. Grow your own. Reduced chance of Gordonesque attitude problem. Better supplemental picks

Hey Crewz, if I’m not mistaken, didn’t you say Griffin had the assets ranked as Zion, Ja, Tatum, then Barrett? Or am I wrong?

Wrong. Zion was third not first

Boston isn't trading for ad

Why do you think that? Kyrie and KD ain't going to the Knicks if AD won't be there. If Boston deals for AD, I think they'll be able to keep KI. Boston is very much in this.

Side note: on the other hand, if you're the Pels and you assume KD will go to NY if you deal AD there, you get KD out of the West and deal a blow to the Warriors.

re: It’s do we want Tatum or RJ Barrett
Here is a concern before trading for RJ Barrett I would want to be satisfied with if I were Griffin:

Is Barrett ok possibly permanently being in Zion's shadow? Being the second go-to guy when the clock is winding down in a close game? Building his game around Zion and not in ways that go against it? Is there any underlying jealousy? How has he handled internal competitiveness in the past? They reportedly get along great at Duke but is there a chance that bond has cracks?

I'm not 100% sold on Barrett to the extent that if the Pels were to do the Knicks deal then it might be a better idea to trade off the #3 pick depending on what you can get.

I legitimately don’t understand why any Pels fan would want to pair RJ with Zion. It’s not a good fit, at all.

I think the Clippers have an underrated package. I might take a package around SGA, Shamet, and picks, over any of these other packages.

Tatum.
RJ May be the more all around player but Tatum can be a 25 on 45/40/80 guy. RJ is a below the rim slasher who relies on fouls & tough layups. Jumpshot needs a ton of work & he doesn’t have the best court vision nor is he a willing passer. A player like Tatum is more valuable than a player like Barrett.
