Just checked again and Zion is definitely better with Bledsoe, Adams, and BI in any combination.

Zion with Hart and/or JJ does terribly bad.

In fact JJ and Hart still have some of the worst numbers on the team.

Everything I look at points to keeping Ingram, Zion, Adams, Bledsoe, NAW, and Lewis and seeing what you can do with the rest (keep Hayes if you are okay still developing him).

Lonzo, Hart, and JJ can all be traded if we can get something decent back. I doubt we get anything for Melli.

I'd argue a lot of that is because of how horrific Zion is on defense, and when he's in with Adams, Adams can clean up a lot of that. When Adams is out and Zion in, I'm guessing the D is completely terrible.

That's part of it, but also when they go with Adams and Zion, or Adams, Zion, and Bledsoe the offense around Zion becomes more focused and less chaotic.

Sort of a case of too many chefs when you have some of those other lineups, or sometimes not any.

I thought we’ve been “playing for the future”. I’m sick of being the fricking 10 seed. When are we going to be an iron clad playoff team??

I still think that we make the playoffs this year, but I think that we should expect to win a series next year.

Probably a few years when BI reaches his final form and Zion develops for a few seasons. That and our other draft picks plus acquisitions develop....That or we push our chips in and get Beal. That can be your big three and if you fill out the roster right give you a punchers chance immediately to go to the Western Conference finals and depending on Zion/Ingram growth, become a legit championship squad
