If you can't resign cousins ... and could shed some money could he be a fit?
Or too old for the money .... bad teammate ?

Everyone hates him. Can't imagine the stories of a locker room with him and Rondo.

Charlotte's locker room hated him.
Considering this locker room seems to genuinely enjoy each other, I'll disagree.

Dwight was one of the centers Demps reportedly tried to trade for before Boogie fell into his lap. He has a lot of negative quirks outside of the lockeroom stuff, like he'd rather post up than roll to the basket, so his mentality makes the fit questionable. But with the pace the Pels play and with a leader like Rondo I do wonder if it could actually work out. But I think Dwight fitting in is much less likely than how people viewed Cousins as fitting in when the trade first happened.

I mean...... If it were any other year, yes. But assuming Cousins comes back, Why???
He’d be overpriced and we would have too much of a logjam down while paying 3/4ths of salary to 4 players that literally play 2 positions.
Dumb thread...

Cousins is not going to be a pel if I am gm.
Health risk off charts.
Sign Howard for mid level money. He's "ok"..nice rotation with ad and mirotic.
What is the locker room.fuss about?
refusal to run plays?

Thank the Lord you're not the GM.

He just doesn't really get along with teammates everywhere he's been. He also wants to play the way he wants to play, which is a dying style of post up basketball. He basically didn't want to run pick and roll with James Harden. Look at how many easy buckets Harden gets Capella. Dwight didn't want to do that.
If Cousins doesn't resign then taking Howard on a cheap one year deal probably is the move to make, but it's not a desired outcome.
