Yes, at the same time.
In other words, I can't trade the 2018 and 2019 picks in one deal at the same time.
But I can trade the 2018 pick, then once that draft is over, I can trade the 2019 pick (obviously, in a separate deal). I no longer owe the 2018 pick any more because it has been conveyed.

To be clear, I'm not saying his salary is something the Pelicans really want to keep on the books with the tax issues while trying to improve overall. Just saying it won't take a first-round pick to dump him.

This team just swept the 3 seed without Boogie. Don't get me wrong, I want him back, but if he doesn't re-sign it's not the death knell of the AD era

I didn’t read the whole thread but on a Kentucky sports board they said Boogie unfollower the Pelicans on instagram. I look for AD to play 1 more year and let them know he won’t sign if they keep him the 4th. He’s heading to Chicago or LA.

For real though, if Jrue plays like he did in the playoffs next season the team doesn't need another high usage player. Which is why I'm a fan of the Boogie/Porter sign and trade idea.
