Well then by all means, get him over to a division rival.

To play with Dwight. That would be a brilliant move.

The rockets sending us asik would be a win for us.......it's just Houston has nearly no leverage with asik when they sign dwight

There were 7 guys in the entire NBA last year that averaged a double double, all were big men

1.Kevin Garnett
2.Tim Duncan
3.Dwight Howard
4.Zach Randolph
5.Pau Gasol
6.Andrew Bogut
7.Omer Asik

So don't spout off that guys like Omer Asik are all over the league. Ryan Anderson has a unique skill set without a doubt, but our offense is loaded, all Im saying is we could use a solid anchor down low, and Asik is probably available tomorrow. We would need an Asik considering Dwight would be in our division, along with Marc Gasol and Tim Duncan

I honestly don't even think houston would do it, but it would be a nice trade for us. Some of you guys are just gigantic homers. Having 4 stud offensive players with 1 ball is a recipe for disaster.

Anderson stretches the court, we need this guy. He is the shooter of this team. Losing Anderson would hurt us more than Asik would help us, just my opinion. If we had other shooters of Andersons level, then maybe. This offense could be special, I'd like to keep it in tact.

After what seems like an eternity of not being able to score when we really needed to . . . frickin' A.

Asik career 53% FT shooter... Other than that, he's great

McHale doesn't play him in crunch time because he can't make FT's. Similar to a Deandre Jordan.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the guy, but he's a liability on offense down the stretch.

Asik/Davis is what we need, not saying houston would even take it, but Anderson played his best along dwight.

Not saying your logic is completely off base, because it's not. The biggest hurdle is the salary. 2013 isn't too bad (about what Lopez was going to get) but next year it goes to almost $15 Mill.

Anderson is more important to this team than Asik would be. Anderson's presence on the outside will keep the lanes open for Evans, Gordon and Holiday. We won't need a rebounder when they're doing layups.

Can we at least see how Anderson does with this group? He's a really strong stretch 4 and we've got a bunch of top-flight slashers now. I'd like the chance to see that offense works before we talk about dealing him.

So with Anderson at the 4, we're gonna play Davis at the 5 when we have 3 of the best centers in the league in our division with Dwight,Marc gasol, and Tim Duncan?

Because clearly we will never ever add another center to this roster unless we trade Anderson and the ONLY way Anderson gets to play is if Davis plays at center.

Anyone suggesting we trade Anderson with his favorable contract is insane.

You'd be giving away one of your only knockdown shooters for a big man with no range. You would have to run exclusively a pick and roll offense... or just clog the paint and pray for the whistle to blow when reke, eg, or Jrue trips over his own man because all five guys are in the paint or vicinity. On top of that, you'd be handing a 3 point specialist over to a team with a plethora of 3 point shooters. Not to mention begging Dwight to join them. And oh yeah, they're in our division.
