It was never supposed to be the slogan The marketing team that always came up with cute little theme sayings every year for the Spurs in the 90s literally treated it as a throwaway year in 1999. Since SA made our first title run that year, folks around here latched onto it and it stuck.

Let the record show that I continue to lead the campaign to get SA an alternate uniform with our old fiesta logo colors on it But we like the look/attitude. Show up, wear black, no nonsense, win the game (hopefully), go home. Rinse and repeat. We wear the "boring" tag like a badge of honor and cultivate the image even when our players/playing style aren't necessarily boring
