There’s a difference between what you would expect an (allegedly) professional organization to do and what this organization does.

I think it's time for us to reflect back on some past organizational weirdness. Monty predated Demps, in fact he kind of helped Demps get his job. For whatever reason Demps reportedly didn't have the authority to fire Monty, basically they both reported to Loomis. I guess it's not the worst distribution of power considering both were first time HC and GM, but it just makes me wonder if there's any point in having a new POBO before Demps gets fired or would a new POBO be more of a consultant like Ferry rather than the person in charge of basketball with the power to hire and fire people.

It wasn't over love of Loomis, it's because you came here acting like you're pioneering a new idea and anyone who doesn't agree 100% with you was a Benson apologist, even if they agreed 99%, or maybe even 100% and just didn't feel like discussing it again that day.

There's somebody on the TV board who just started a thread titled "Anyone ever watched king of the hill" talking about this great new show he discovered and he's getting downvoted to hell, but it's not because the board hates King of the Hill. Take that same thread but alter it a bit "King of the Hill now on Hulu, how did I miss this great show" and it gets upvotes instead of downvotes.

Sometimes it's not what you say but how you say it or even when you say it. We've had idiots start up a Fire Everybody thread after a good win and even if people agree in principle, it's just out of place at the time.

Or maybe, just maybe, the Fire Demps and Gentry threads are retarded when they aren’t the problem. I’ll bet the ratio of The Fire threads greatly favor the firing the coach/GM over pobo...& yes there are apologist who say “he’s not involved” or because they are Bensons apologists/diehard Saints fans.

I’ve followed this board & this team long enough to know the apathy around the franchise & where it leads.

If you’re going to chastise me for a Fire loomis thread, for god sakes take that same approach to Gentry/Demps threads.

I listen to smarter people as well, but it’s TigerDroppings, those are few and far between...Baloo is one of them, SFP has his moments, shel knows basketball. As you state all the time, I’m here to educate.

Like with you, if you were better at communicating, what’s left of BSS could be salvaged...but you’ve always had a bit of temper, so pardon my taking of the salt shaker when Im getting life advice from MM.

There are plenty of posters and lurkers IRL who know me, so I post here to keep them entertained while they work. This is fun, that’s it. Not a backdoor way to salvage a writing career.
