What is there to say? He fractured his finger. He’s out for the year

What else do you want? He’s out indefinitely

Then why don’t they say so? If he finished the game with it and had to tell the staff after the game it’s most likely the lesser fracture which leads to an average of 5 missed games.

You think they're going to rush him back for the last 2 games, which will probably mean nothing?

One of the things that Griff said in his presser is that they wouldn't know about it Zion didn't tell them, so could he play with it? Maybe, but Griff just spent $50,000 telling the league if they want Zion driving ratings then they need to officiate him more fairly.

I think Griff was vague on purpose. You can't give the league what they want now without getting something in return.

Maybe they're waiting until we are officially eliminated from the play-in.

Depending on the severity of the fracture he might be able to play if they make the playoffs. I’ve fractured a finger before and after 2 weeks it felt a good bit better and after a month it was fine. I wasn’t playing basketball though so it may be different for him. Even if they made the playoffs though and he thought he could play there’s an argument it’s smarter just to shut him down and start fresh next year.

Sit the playoffs because of a fractured finger that would have had weeks to heal? I hope Zion isn't that beta.

Was that Zion on the bench in the yellow jacket/sweatshirt against the Hornets?

They said he was out indefinitely.

They won't say he's out for the season, because if they end up making the play in he will be back for that.

they will do technology.
mri or x ray.
looks good? play.
see a little crack? no play.

zion is the golden goose.

no doctor is going to be the guy who pushes zion to play before hes healed 100%.

zion could learn how to shoot 8 to 18 foot jumpers today.
