Let's just say for the sake of argument that we do not trade the 13th pick and keep it.

How does having SVG as HC affect the type of player we would decide to go with at 13? Does it have any affect whatsoever?

Does it make it more or less likely for Griffin to go with a higher floor, lower ceiling type player? An older player that could possibly see the floor earlier?

Or does it make it more likely that no rookie will see the floor soon and in return to bet on potential/talent?

We do know that SVG does not love playing young players until they have proven that they should play. He doesn't really believe in learning by playing in games.

Only difference is the chances of a high risk flier on a guy like Poku went from 1% to .00001% IMO.

I see the Pels going after a PG at 13 now more than ever to the point it's a lock. I also still see them bringing in a vet PG regardless (assuming the rosters are expanded next season).

I think there is obviously some input SVG will have, but I think Griff has a pretty good idea who is on his big board.

I would assume the input SVG will give, big or small, will be to go after a shooter/defender - Pat Williams type.

Yeah I see Pat Williams as a legit possibility as well.
