They still need to develop and play NAW and Jackson over the vets at some point. We’re trying to win games now and that’s going slow development for the young guys. Once Favors returns, that could also affect Hayes.

People keep saying "Lonzo will be a lot better when Zion gets back," but I really think that Zion coming back will do a lot more for NAW. In the preseason Lonzo and Zion didn't do much together, because Lonzo still wasn't driving to the basket. NAW will drive, but he's finished poorly at the rim. Zion's presence means that NAW will have someone amazing to hand the ball off to for the dunk, or that he's have someone there to clean up his misses and throw the ball down.
I still think that Moore goes out in a trade before the end of the year.
My fear now is that Frank will never be a good enough defender to be a contributor to a championship-level team.

AD Trade Pieces - Ingram looks like an All Star in the making and future top 10-15 player. That level of player alone is usually what you hope to land after trading a franchise player and bottoming out for a year or more. To get him and Zion together is insanely good luck.
Not saying its going to happen but BI is out pacing Giannis at this point in their careers, respectivly
---and he just turned 22

I'll go ahead and respectfully say that Ingram is never going to be the best player in basketball.

Yea but what if he hits top 5-10?

Then let's all point our fingers at the Lakers and laugh.
Assuming they dont win a championship with AD

What’s annoying to me is no timeline for Zion. Everything is vague. It’s been 6 weeks and we don’t know when he can practice. It’s hard to even give tickets away right now, selling them you’re lucky if you get back half of the face value unless it’s the Lakers.

So just go to the games. I don’t want Zion brought back too soon to appease fans trying to sell tickets.

Lonzo just may not be a good fit for us.
We also aren’t using him the best. He needs to have the ball in his hands in transition and then run high PnR for him. Jrue (especially Jrue) and BI should let Lonzo run fast breaks.
ETA - not to excuse Alonso’s poor fit/play, but he could be better. I assume we move on from him this offseason.

I live 2 hours from Nola. I wish I could make every game but that’s not possible.

Well, there was a timeline, but you're right that the team needs to update it if he isn't practicing with the team in the next few days.
