If I didn’t know any better, I swear he’s taking a shot at the Pelicans organization.

"I wanted to go somewhere I’m appreciated and can play my game."

Well in his defense, SVG was asking him to play out of position. Also, he didn’t complain to the media about it to much. It was his dad that did it.

Time to let it go baw. It's nothing to get worked up about. He got his bag and feels appreciated.

Yes, of all the mistakes SVG made, not letting Lonzo run the half court offense and try to break down defenses with his awesome penetration skills and multi level scoring ability is probably the biggest mistake

good luck with that brosephus.

i have a feeling that appreciation you feel right now, is the highest it will ever be, b/c once Chicago, and more importantly, the media realizes you aren't anywhere near a $20M/yr player, that appreciation will dwindle, quickly.
but hey, you got paid.

i enjoyed being lectured by both dumbass summer league announcers on why we let you go, but they'll realize it in about 4-6 months.

Lonzo really is not going to take it well when Alex Caruso is closing games over him by mid January.

He's delusional if he thinks he's going to be able to play his game with Lavine, Derozan, White, etc.

He will be right back to spotting up on the wings in no time.

This kind of horseshite makes me feel so much better about not re-signing this muppet.

What a great offseason so far

All you guys shitting on Lonzo for no reason will see that the guy is really a good player, SVG offense and the way he use him was bad. I agree i wouldn't have paid him 20 plus a year, but Lonzo is a really good player and will only get better.

No evidence as such - he’s already been jettisoned by 2 NBA teams.

He’s a decent player nothing more, and the fact that he didn’t want to stay after we rehabbed his game makes it clear the right decision to let him walk was made.

I mean he just took a shot at the organization that taught him not how to shoot like a complete retard and allowed him to go to his preferred destination even though it wasn’t a good deal for us.

He’s also an oft injured player that is among one of the worst 4th quarter shooters in the league. He also doesn’t play a lick of defense despite his reputation of being a good defender.

Frick him. I honestly don’t dislike him, but we have no reason to gas his inconsistent arse up anymore.

We are not shitting on Lonzo, we just strongly disagree with his and his fanatics belief that he is a traditional point guard. He is a 3 & D wing with passing ability like Marcus Smart or Evan Turner, and there's nothing wrong with that. It's not shitting on him to say the skill set he exhibits doesn't line up with the commonly used "Point Guard" label people attach to him.

The only place he was playing out of his position was in his head.

That’s Lonzo’s problem. He thinks he’s a pure PG. he’s not. He’s a 3&D off ball guard in half court and can push pace in transition. That’s it.

And he’s not particularly good at the D of 3&D and very inconsistent on the 3 part.

Lavine and DD are ball dominant dudes, for the most part.

Lavine/DD/Vuc account for 85% usage just between the 3 of them.

I'm not sure Lonzo will be facilitating or having the ball in his hands as much as he thinks, and it seems like even less than he did in New Orleans based on their roster.

This just my opinion, i believe Lonzo is a really good player. I did not say he is a point guard but a good player, which i believe to be true. Just because a guy leaves your organzation is no reason to knock him, if that's the case we need to look at some of the bad decisions made by this front office and not always blame the players.

I really don't see how he'll be more of a point guard and less of a catch and shoot guy with that roster makeup.
