I get the love affair with CJ running the team but he is a true SG so why not bring in a PG that has ball handles and speed like Ty Ty Washington or Andrew Nembhard big guard who can score and play D? Than on the other hand you have the center position which have Jalen Durant this guy was unstoppable when on the court at C he would fit great when this team gets up and down the court.

What say you?

We have to give Lewis a shot to make it. He is very talented and has special attributes (speed). If we draft or acquire another PG, we have to move him.

We have 3 guys that will play PG. So I'd stick with them for a year and see how it goes. If it's not working, upgrade that spot next offseason.

I would like the team to add a combo guard at some point in the draft. We have no idea what we have with Kira, Graham is obviously not a long term option. But I don’t think there are any glaring draft needs for the Pels. The roster is pretty solid, overall.

We have three guys who can play PG on the roster: CJ, Jose, and Kira. JV needs to find his 3pt shot again but I wouldn't mind getting another big. We may go small ball with Nance and Zion as our two bigs on some rotations.

Our biggest need is a 3pt shooter. We were near dead last in all 3pt categories last year. I hope trigga can take that next step with his 3pt shooting. I'd love to have someone like Herro, Huerter, or Buddy coming off the bench and have the ability to knock down 3s.

I’d like the best player available at 8 regardless of position

The only way Graham is a part of this team's future, which seems highly unlikely, is if he really accepts the role of a catch and shoot 3 point player. That's where he has done the best. He does not need to try and create offense for himself or anyone else as we have all seen it's not the prettiest, especially the step back 3. He needs to reign it in some and take less overall minutes. But the reality is, he's probably going to be moved for someone else sooner than later.

Add Zion and replace CJ with B.I. and you're right. I am not a huge fan of CJ playing PG. The ball doesn't move as much when he is running point. The ball doesn't move as much as you want with CJ, B.I. or Zion though. But that's pretty much what we're going to get with the starting lineup. The 2nd unit is going to need scoring because Kira and Jose can spread it around but they can't light you up. TM3 will be better but we still need scoring off the bench. If you're going to keep Kira (I hope we do), you need to get a bucket getter.

That being said, at #8, I'm a fan of best available if it's not a PF and get you a scorer in FA.

We don’t have any glaring needs. We can definitely improve, but running it back in its current form is a top 4 team.

I agree another backcourt ball handler who can imitate the offense is a need.

But on a team that has CJ, Zion and Ingram plus Alvarado (and Kira) I don’t think a true PG is a huge priority. That’s part of why I like Johnny Davis. He adds to the guys in the backcourt who can share the primary ball handler duties but has the versatility to play alongside either CJ or Alvarado, or even alone with Herb. I also see Davis as a guy that could grow into an eventual CJ replacement as CJ gets further into his 30s.

We were 33% from 3 this season, which was 4th worst in the league.

That will go up a little bit with CJ playing a full season next year, but we still need more shooters.

Should go up with this man shooting 10+ threes a game next year too

Sure, but that's still just 2 true 3pt shooters.

Need more to spread the floor and make point Zion that much more dynamic.

I don’t get why I am seeing so many people talking about upgrading from Jonas. JV was a walking double double and provides the needed size to match teams with big centers. Sure he may have to sit when teams go small but that’s exactly you what Nance is here for. Jonas is a damn good starting 5 on a very reasonable contract. I think people have forgotten the Jason Smith, Chris Kaman or even last year with Steven Adams days.

And it will also go up with Trey and herb getting more acclimated and Zion in the paint sucking defenses in.
