Just curious, does anyone know how this happens when they initially agree?

Since its all pending, how did we get the date fixed on the 6th? Just a verbal agreement and if they back out they look like shite?

They have nothing left to offer short of Kuzma and I'd rather them not be able to sign better players than get Kuzma.

This would really only allow them to possibly get butler and then they fill out there roster with minimums. They still wouldn’t get Kyrie or Kemba unless MJ doesn’t want Kemba anymore. But why wouldn’t MJ just sign Kemba anyway then trade him next year to get a return instead of letting him walk

I really hope to not hear from a Lakers beat writer speculating about the pels for a long time.
