I don't think they will believe we have a chance THIS year. I think what they are hoping for is they get a really good player and Pels go like 15-6 down the stretch and they can say,

"See Anthony, we can be really good when healthy. Give us a few months and we will show how great we can be next year, and if you still aren't happy in January of 2020, we will work with you and your agent to find a trade"

Man, I’m just over this whole thing and want to move on in some fashion (I’d rather just blow it up now but I don’t think it will happen...). If you’re going to swing for the fences and try to pursuade AD to stay, at least swing in all phases and give Finch a chance this season and make a decision this offseason. I don’t understand the mindset that moving around players constantly is ok, but not holding the coach to the same accountability. Gentry could very well be one of the main pieces holding this team back.

I like Klove. Think he will do great at his next destination when hes not just a stretch five and teams actually get him involved. What has this franchise done to make you think we will draft a good young prospect with the 10-11th pick and develop him?

If you trade the 10th pick for Kevin Love, you don't just compare the 10th pick and Kevin Love. Google 'Opportunity Cost'

Its also -- all the other things you could get for the 10th pick. It's also the 26 million dollars in cap room you would have in the scenario you have where you choose the 10th pick vs Kevin Love.

When you understand the situation in that context, trading the pick for Love is insane given where this franchise is currently

Here's a quote on the situation the Cavs have and if they can flip Love like the Clippers flipped Griffin:

quote:

While the Clippers had a healthy Griffin to trade to a team desperate for an All Star level talent, Love has been out since the start of the season recovering from left foot surgery (he hasn't played 70 games since 2015-2016) and will be 31 when his $120 million extension kicks in next season.

LINK

Do you still like Love after reading that? If you're hell bent on going after an aging star with injury issues that's owed a lot of money, I'd go after CP3 before I go after Love.

I'm not the team doctor responsible for approving where his health is at the current moment and predicting it going forward. That would have to be checked out by someone other than myself. Also the clippers are in LA and have doc. They have a window to go after free agents like Kwahi and KD. We do not. If Blake played for pelicans he wouldnt have been moved. Nba is not a level playing field like the Nfl and a small market team cant pretend to be something they are not. Thats the reason OKC lets Russ continue to do what he does at the end of games and not adjust anything. Hes their Face.

Was 9 rows behind the bench last night.AD remains engaged. Speaking with teammates and coaches during TOs.
Blake Griffin is an ultra competitor.

This team needs a legit back up rim protector.

Too much help led to easy 3s when Detroit swung the ball around.

Frank is definitely the little brother on this team.

Moore is basically invisible now.
Solo Hill was the best defender on Blake and should have had more minutes on him.

Jah took on the challenge of being challenged at the rim. Easy to root for, but needs to improve conditioning even more.

It took Jrue too long to get going.

Reggie Jackson is kind of punk(shocking I know).

Great value on tickets in mid week to see a great player on the opposing team.

I don't think AD "wants" out. This isn't like CP3 where his people had been whispering in his ear to leave for years. But he does want to win and right now it's questionable if they can even build a playoff team around him.
