Pelicans announce that rookie Frank Jackson underwent successful scar tissue removal, debridement and injection to his right foot.
Timetable to return will be determined at a later date.
I'm no doctor but this sounds a little more like maintenance than "not another surgery on the same broken foot ". Not sure what to make of the injection though. I guess he's been having pain and swelling, but we didn't hear any scary words like stress reaction.

Wonder if he will be able to return for Summer League?

This will definitely come true if Oschner gets a hold of him.

This is not unusual for a foot/ankle surgery months down the line. I’m not sure when his initial surgery actually was. Scar tissue forms quicker in some people than others. Being in a cast/boot for weeks after surgery leaves some people more susceptible than others for scar tissue formation and subsequent limitation of mobility or pain.

Would you trust a doctor who has the name of your garden variety stripper? I know I wouldn't
