There are adjustments to be made for him to stick in the league long term (more than four turnovers a game) but he was a second round pick who looks like a guy who could give the Pelicans some steady minutes at the point as a reserve

Smith seems to fit what Dell and Monty want in a PG. I believe he will turn into a good backup point while AR plays both point and 2 guard.

yep, a defensive backcourt guy who can actually run the point. A perfect backup to Jrue after he gets accustomed to the league
