Discussed it, if draymond is on the pels I’d have a hard time pulling for them, I really can’t stand his dirty arse

ETA
Stephen a smith said there’s close to a zero chance the pels would do this, they talked for about 20 minutes on the topic tho.

The only good thing that would come from that is that people would stop perpetually overrating Draymond.

How many games do the Pels win with a core of Draymond, Thompson, Holiday, and Mirotic? Maybe 40?

I agree, terrible idea. Only way to trade AD is if he pulls a cp3 and says he’s leaving regardless so might as well trade him

Stephen a has one of the biggest egos out there, and is quite annoying at times. But the dude knows his basketball, and he doesn’t beat around the Bush

I'd have a hard time pulling for them if they made that trade from a pure talent standpoint.

I remember some dumbass on the MSB saying the Pels would win more games if you replaced AD with Draymond

As much as I hate Draymond, I don't think it's a horrible trade.

Not worse than simmons saying we're trading ad for something stupid like Marcus smart.

I'd be highly intrigued with that lineup if it meant we keep cousins.

Is the weed we have good enough for Klay though?

well green and thompson aren't taking friendly deals to stay in NOLA and some are saying green is wanting the super max next year, so that would be a pretty awful deal for us

He couldn't get that from any team outside of Golden State.

There's no way this is happening anyway, so no point in really even discussing it.

You could say bye to Rondo if Draymond came here. And me too.

Well htran90 said GSW would be a worse team with AD over Draymond straight up. Hard to take anything he says anymore about basketball seriously.

And this is what pisses me off about ESPN. They also talked about this topic on High Noon with Pablo and Bomani. ESPN wants to consider itself a journalistic organization, yet they constantly try to create or their own storylines or storylines out of nothing.

If I could pick any frontcourt player to put next to Davis, it would be Draymond.

Does him being the best front court sidekick make him a top 11 player in the NBA? Do you think that a team would be successful with Draymond being the best player on that team? Or, do you think he maybe gets overrated a bit because he’s on a successful team with 3 other all stars? I don’t think he’s a bad player, but I do think he’s a role player, and role players shouldn’t be ranked as high as he is in the national media (specifically his 11 ranking).

Can you define what "role player" means to you and give other examples of "role player?"

A role player is a complimentary player. One in which has attributes that compliment other more "impactful" players on their team. By role player, I'm referring to someone who can't be the best player on a successful team. Someone who is better as a second or third option on a team. He's the best role player in the NBA, but he's not someone that you want as your best player on your team.

Steven Adams is a role player, Clint Capela is a role player, Serge Ibaka on the Thunder was a solid role player. Draymond is better than these players, due to his offensive facilitation but he's still a role player, IMO.

ETA: I think he's probably somewhere around 25-30 overall, as there are probably only about 20 or so players who you'd want to start an NBA team with. If there was an open draft of every player in the NBA, I refuse to believe that Draymond Green would be taken 11th overall.

You would take Draymond Green over Lebron, KD, Giannis, even Horford/KAT/Gobert?

I’m dumbfounded man. Have you seen Draymond and how he racks up his assists? He sits at the top of the key, NO ONE guarding him, and waits for the GSW offense to start moving and kicks it to one of the 3 best shooters in the game or guys backcutting because the defense is watching the 3 best shooters in the game with 30 freaking foot range.

Draymond and AD would be a spacing disaster.

You can argue defense, as he has a really high IQ on that end and allows you to have two roamers that can defend anywhere on the court, but man offense... nope.

Give me a big who can actually spread the floor or create havoc with their dribble drives and passing.
