How these guys keep holding onto their jobs is beyond me.

You have a starting line up of guys who have been starters in the NBA and have produced ( Payton, Mirotic, Randle, Holliday and Davis) but for some reason they can' win games in NOLA

While we are at it......demote Mickey Loomis so tat he only deals with football....he is not a basketball man

Step 1 - Fire Demps and Gentry
Step 2 - Promote Ferry as temporary GM
Step 3 - Promote Erman as temporary coach
Step 4 - Trade for Bradley Beal
Step 5 - Tell AD to pick who he wants as coach
Step 6 - Tell AD to pick who he wants as GM
Step 7 - Tell AD to pick who he wants off the team
Step 8 - AD signs supermax
Step 9 - Profit

Loomis is a big problem.

Agents, executives,etc...don’t respect the organization because an NFL guy is in charge.

The Magic had the same problem when they hired a NHL guy to be the GM.

I know Saints fans love Loomis, but he doesn’t help the Pels. We can separate the two.

LOOMIS IS NOT THE GM!

He is an organizational VP who has said repeatedly that he has very little involvement in the running of the team.

That is the problem.

He's the President of Basketball Operations.

Well we’re 15-6 at home so they are winning games in Nola. Problem is they’re 6-18 on the road.

And for the last 2 years reports have said other teams aren’t sure who is in charge, Demps or Loomis. Loomis is a negative in his current role.

NBC sports just had the article talking about how “ownership” only cares about the Saints. He’s the extension of that. Sorry if I want my basketball

Also, even if he’s not the GM...he’s the GMs boss...Id prefer my teams ultimate boss to know the NBA.

But that's not what you claimed above. I agree that I would prefer a basketball guru as POBO, but Loomis' role is not in the player aspect of the team, but more the operational/financial aspect. He has made it clear that Demps handles that aspect (and has Ferry assisting). Again, I would prefer someone with a basketball background, but I think his role is a bit overblown.

That NBA teams don’t respect the FO? It’s clearly implied & it’s not the first time.

Loomis is and has been a bad look in NBA circles.

What's so weird is IIRC, they had identical home/road records just last season (24-17).

How does a team get that bad on the road in one year?

Was Rondo that important to the team success?
