Sounds about right. His dad was nice to us and buying us drinks and everything.
But everything when it comes to AD and basketball, I’ve never heard positive things about him. Supposedly his dad burned a lot bridges in Chicago on the b-ball circuit there too.

I know people come up with some crazy bullshite on here, so i get where you’re coming from, but I wouldn’t put in the effort to come up with a list of 10 random things that I can try to pass off as something AD’s dad told me at a game once.
like anyone here actually gives a frick about you or your daily conversations. there was countless discussion over AD's future in the time period of when you supposedly had your conversation to today. how odd that you would never bring up valuable information like that until now.

I'm not going to start a new thread for it, but there is a random guy on a twitter with a few other people confirming that AD's dad was an absolute chore and the Pelicans kept it pretty quiet because we have almost no one covering the team.
That he was verbally abusive to Monty/Dell/Alvin a lot, one insinuation that he stormed into the locker room after a bad loss, etc.

I agree. But I think he thought he was doing the right thing with his choices at the time. It is sad when someone who is a really outstanding person cannot perform. It is much easier when you hate the person.

Yeah, that was an interesting podcast. They said that AD's dad had to be removed by SKC security on multiple occasions after physically threatening Demps and others during and after games.
