Sorry if this has been discussed, but my son mentioned an interesting point. Why is the NBA requiring the Pelicans to play Davis, but the Spurs were not required to play Kawhi Leonard last year? I guess the league is upset that we did not play ball with the Lakers (same as playing ball with the league).

Kawhi did not want to play and insisted he was not able to play. Davis is the opposite.

AD , a true professional shows up and does the job he's paid $30 million dollars to do. And he is criticized by petty Pels fans.

Leonard was bashed unmercifully for an ongoing injury( wink ,wink ) , avoiding the Spurs organization , etc.....The exact opposite of AD yet he is still bashed by some as well.

Tell your son its a valuable lesson in being your own man. You can never please others

Fined for tampering, had his Dad send out a text to frick with the Pels, and leaked negative reports about the Pels.

I agree.

It shows that doing the right thing but in a selfish and unprofessional way is just as bad as doing the wrong thing unprofessionally.
