Can we please hire this guy now before someone else does. He’s a young up and coming coach that would be a great fit for AD and Boogie.

I mean we are 6th in the league in points, despite what almost universally we felt coming into the season was not a group capable of putting up a ton of points. Everyone deeply concerned about the fall off after Boogie/Davis.

Finch/Gentry has this offense looking as good as it ever has when it is clicking. And it has been clicking more and more as the season goes on. Which is what you want.

Now the team just needs to circle back and get the defense clicking more like last season.

I'm no Gentry fan, never wanted him, still have plenty of issues. But I'm not exactly convinced Fizdale is some savant that we throw the positive trending of this team in the trash to chase after him.

Fizdale will have another job soon. He's in that Vogel tier of coaching: if players will buy in they're gucci, if not or if Conley misses half the season they're fricked

I don't get the love for this guy and how would this work? You would bring in Gentry the day after a win. Thank him for getting the team above .500, with your best player injured, then fire/buy him out. That way you can hire a guy that was 7-12 at his last stop and was fired cause his players revolted against him. That just doesn't make any sense..

Shameless summed it up pretty well the other day, Gentry may be in the bottom of the average coach tier, but getting a top average coach isn't going to make much of a difference. The Pels have about as solid a bunch of assistants as you can find. Replacing Gentry with a slightly better coach would be a net negative if you lose your assistants or the freedom/responsibility Gentry has given them in the process.

Monty got fired because he and Demps couldn't work together anymore and gave Loomis a him or me ultimatum. As hands off as Loomis is I believe if Monty and Demps could have gotten along Monty would still be coaching here.

Sorry, boys, a coaching change is not the silver bullet, imo.
