Man, how good has this guy been? I would say to start him over DC but I think Miller and Jameer are a good combo off the bench

He's really developed into a quality gunner

I honestly think he's turning into a bargain. 2.5 mil a year for a reliable 9-10ish ppg that can have a big night here and there.

Kinda almost what we wanted out of swaggy p

he has been terrific for the last couple weeks. Seems like he just needed to gain some confidence.

I don’t know why people want him to start. He’s thriving in a role where we actually need him to make plays. Keep him playing his 20-25 off the bench.

Me personally, its because at the end of the day the starting unit is going to win or lose you games most nights. Is he a starter on 90% of teams? No. Is the current starting units of Cunningham and Moore been problematic? Yeah.

With Rondo as PG and Jrue's shooting woes, we need a reliable spacer that can hit shots to help the spacing of our bigs and provide an outlet while being able to at least not get completely exploited on defense because of size or athleticism issues.

Rondo can get you those open shots. Cousins and AD drawing double teams can give you wide open looks. Moore just doesn't have the size to stay with the majority of SF's and still be expected to perform at a high level offensively IMO. Cunningham lacks the athleticism and is struggling horribly with his shot. Allen would shrink the floor too much.

Its not so much I am personally clamoring for him to start so much as he is becoming the only one that makes sense to do so for me.

Things would make more sense if solo was around

Miller is a perfect compliment and D.C would be way better off as the backup 4

I agree man. I was going to start a thread on this a week ago but didnt want to jinx him too soon. But he clearly has some confidence going. I

I also like him coming off the bench and being a go to guy going forward. He wouldnt get those same looks with the starters. And keep in mind he shoots most of his 3s from the top to the wing spots. he will get more shots there with the backups.

This. We'd actually have quality depth at the 3. I don't think we've ever had that. It's crazy how much of a difference Solo makes. I hope he can come back at a level where he can make an impact down the stretch

As some people mentioned (me included) he become a shooter in Europe.
The question was - will it translate to the NBA to make him useful rotation player.

Looks like he is...
You may bash Dell. But he believed in him from the start.
Not a bad pick in mid 40s

Give him 4 more 3s on just 6 shots

12 points
3 Reb
2 Ast
1 Stl

59.5% from 3 now and averaging just under 11 ppg since nov 3rd

He started slowing his shot down and it's paid off big time.

He's much better than his first stint here. If we had Hill healthy we would be set at SF
