Here's a good interview with Crawford a little before he signed with the Pels and you can tell he's not the same guy that 5 years ago said he felt he could be better than Michael Jordan

5 game sample size, but I agree. He doesn't force bad shots and dishes it out. You could point a handful of times a game where a shoot first mentality, he would have pulled the trigger on a bad shot.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't a minimum deal that was unguaranteed next year. The incentive for Crawford to sign something like that is if he makes it work we have his Early Bird Rights after next year and he can get some of that Ajinca money.
