Cousins trade is the greatest trade in NOLA sports history

It's not even a discussion. Better discussion is what's #2. It would have to be the Saints and I can't even think of one

To me, this could be what changes the organization moving forward like Brees did for the Saints, granted the dynamics of each sport is completely different, the ideology is the same

Vilma trade is number 1

Steve Walsh trade has to rank up there

The Ricky Williams trade was the biggest at the time, but didn't turn out like we hoped

That's a good one, had forgotten about it. Probably greatest Saints trade, don't think it'll be better than this one though

I said this yesterday. They were heading nowhere. No hope, no realistic chance at drawing free agents, fans talking themselves into being excited about signing Solomon Hill and Moore. Now, all of a sudden you have two superstars and you're the most interesting team in the league. I don't know how well they will play and I would be legit concerned about cousins being an a-hole but this was definitely a franchise changer.

Saints trade Pat Swilling to Lions for 1st round (Willie Roaf) and 4th round (Lorenzo Neal) picks

In my mind, that's #1 because it got us a Super Bowl.
All draft picks for Ricky Williams is probably #2. CP3 trade is probably 3 right above Cousins at the moment. Jimmy Graham to Seattle is still a big trade. Swilling to Detroit was pretty big, but not this big. Roaf to the Chiefs was a big trade too.

I hope playing on a team where he can be one of the men instead of having to be THE man will help him. Plus kids in their early 20's do eventually grow up.
Time will tell if it is the greatest but i am excited as hell.
