Why the hell would the team want 3 PFs in Davis, Andersen, and Bennett when they have much larger needs? I can understand wanted depth but 3 deep is a bit much.

If we were to sign Jefferson, I'd have to imagine that we'd trade Lopez. Lopez is still a good backup option at $5m/yr, but with no SF, rolling with Ryno/Smiht off the bench is fine. I would say some package of Lopez and next year's pick could get you a solid starter, maybe a good one depending on protection. Or switch Lopez for Ryno to up the ante, since you've already added a good bit of offense between Jefferson and CJM. Would need 3pt shooter, though. Ryno makes ~$8.5m, so you could bring back over $12m in salary even if we're against the cap.
