Davis is shooting 90% from the free throw line. His career average is 78.7%, what other big man would be close? Blake Griffin is at 76%.

Jrue is going to need to be more aggressive.

I agree, and perhaps the only thing I am concerned about is Gentry seemingly shifting him between off guard and lead guard.

Jrue has already suffered a bit of an identity crisis last year and asking him to focus on two sets of responsibilities feels a bit, IDK, incorrect. Like inviting the same issue he had last season.

I agree with some of the writers that have said it feels smarter to let Jrue focus on his new position. At most let him share facilitating responsibilities with Grits or Clark when in that situation. But keep him focused on being aggressive and not so passive.

Was going to ask if Clark was going to play, but apparently he has 6 minutes played in the game. I'm sure the backups will play most of the 2nd half, so definitely want to see him and Miller get involved.
Clark didn't do much of anything worth noting. So I guess you could say that's good on the defensive end and not as much on the offensive end.

Miller played well enough. We just need him to play some minutes as a backup SF. Against small ball teams, he wont be needed as much. Miller did hit a nice open shot.

Our perimeter defense HAS to improve.

They are going to win a lot of games by getting to the line. You have two guys that can take 10 free throws a game, and hit them at an 80%+ clip

Bunch of rookies working this stream

Always showing replays during live play and fricking up in general. Am I the only one thinking this?

69 in first half, only 3 through three 2nd half minutes.

Rondo has had multiple passes tonight where it looked like he expected the player to come back to him, but they stayed put. Need to clean that up.

Defense needs to get on the same page though.

Some really lax play on that end so far.

What a surprise. Pels struggling in 3rd quarter. We are jacking up 3s with no movement.

Miller looks tentative on defense and honestly offense except when he's spotting up for 3. He needs to play with more confidence and energy. This is his first game back in the league, so hopefully he gets it together.
