I never thought he was wrong. Demarcus goes through stretches where he is incredibly decisive, quick to the basket, drawing fouls and he does so incredibly efficient. Then his shot selection and offense gets lazy and bam bam... two bricks or some shite.

That's b/c he's tired as shite.
We have no one, NO ONE that can play minutes at the 5 or the 4 other than AD and Cousins.
I've been saying all off season they have got to get another big to give them some minutes of rest.
It would also help if our $25M SG could take some of the scoring pressure off of Cousins.

WHat was it last night...9 of 13 from 2, 3 of 10 from 3?
Just less 3s, just shoot em when you're wide open. Otherwise, he needs to be in the paint much more often.

i caught one of the 3's he stroked, it was a pass to him and he just stepped right into the stroke immediately... i guess cause he made it, i'll say it was a much better decision.

He is tired as shite. The team sprints down and the defense gets set up before he crosses midcourt. He comes trailing in and gets a pass at the top of the key, so he fires away. We need to figure out how to get him more rest and slow the pace some when he is on the court.

Are you talking about the play he fouled on? The commentators were blaming him for poor situational awareness, not defensive play. Only bench big and you have 3 fouls. Someone blew an assignment, just let the guy score instead of contesting there.

That's what happens when you are asking your bigs to do too much. Ideally both Davis and Cousins should be averaging 20/10+ with a strong supporting cast. You force Davis to do too much and he'll eventually get injured. You ask Cousins to do too much, he'll eventually make boneheaded plays.
The roster is too flawed for our bigs thrive as a unit. So we see amazing individual play but we still don't look like a cohesive unit.

I think we have seen that having Cousins and Davis is more than enough to win us games. Our problem is not having anyone worth a shite to do anything on offense when they go out.
They are both expending so much energy when they are in the game to keep us ahead, which they have done a great job at b/c they are something like +25 when on the court together so far this season. You can see after they've been in for 8 straight minutes, they are gassed and start making mistakes. They have got to get some help on offense, and it should be coming from Jrue. They also have got to get another 4 or 5 that can play a good 12-15 minutes a game and be servicable, and Diallo isnt' that guy.
