Pretty obvious flagrant. Debatable about 1 or 2.
Posted on 11/20/17 at 10:52 pm to Fun Bunch
The camera angle caught him looking straight at his target, before basically winding up an elbow, if it wasnt intentional then boogie has no control of his body.

No chance that’s a flagrant 2.
Dog you are fricking blind. Clear as day flagrant 2.
Adams pulls that move on Holiday/Rondo and y'all would be saying he should be suspended

It was a 2. He needs to stop doing that shite. He will miss a game this year because of it

I'm not a homer. I bitched about his immature ways in Sacramento. I continue to do so despite him being on the team I root for.

Boogie's a turnover machine. I don't know if we would have won this game with him in the court.

Does Boogie get suspended for the next game?

I just watched it... intentional yes but the way this thread describes it y’all make it look like he took Russ’ head off. It was a love tap saying gtf off me, I guess he deserved the flagrant 2 but comon he is playing sports.

I don't understand how people are dismissing this. It was a love tap with his elbow. Is this like the pass rusher that gets a flag for skimming the QBs helmet without making any real contact? Maybe, but it's still something that even he should have known not to do.
Cousins started the season very focused, he seems to be losing some of that focus to the detriment of the team. He needs to find it or the AD Small Ball unit might start eating some of his minutes because they're playing pretty well right now.

Intentional or not, it was worthy of a F2. My biggest concern with Boogie is his reluctance to hedge a ball screen which allows good shooters lots of space. That was evident in the first half. After he's gone in the second half, we contested shots much better.

I just watched in the ESPN webpage. That was a huge flop. Sure it could be called a foul, but no way that’s flagrant.
Frankly, I thought it was an obvious flagrant 1 + flop, but the refs didn't see it that way. Now I wish he would have connected on Russell's earhole.

Paul George should have picked one up for shoving Boogie in the back on the way to the floor earlier in the game.

On the slow mo replay you can see him looking at Westbrook before unleashing the elbow. He may not have been aiming at his head but he intentionally tried to get Westbrook off him with his elbow.
Yeah I really doubt he was aiming for his head but he definitely elbowed him on purpose. I don't know the fine print of what constitutes a flagrant 1 and what constitutes a flagrant 2 but honestly, it seemed like a reasonable ejection. Can't go around throwing elbows.

The in-house camera crews angle was better than network tv's on this play and you would have only seen it if you were in the building.
It looked 100% blatant.

That play was way more dangerous than the Boogie "elbow". I'm not sure what was going through Boogie's thick skull on the elbow, but that was such an exaggerated play. Westbrook had to sell so much of that contact and flop to make it look even remotely serious. Even with his flop, it still looked like a joke.
ATL is right though. Bad Boogie is starting to creep up into these games a little too often lately. It's getting worrisome.

After now having seen it on TV in slomo, I retract my statements. He deserved the ejection.

Thanks Bunchie. I was honestly surprised many of you were arguing so heavily in favor of Cousins. Looks like Cousins made a deliberate downward hit more toward Russell's shoulder that then was redirected head bound. You just don't throw deliberate elbows high at someone at that was exactly what that rule was for.
