I’m gonna assume they’re giving him everything he wants as far as salary/staff/ all of that. And it’s a decent young team in a big city where you can get top FAs

No way he goes there to rebuild next season. You have to believe they will be moving some of their young players to get someone to play with Lavine. If I had to guess, Chris Paul would be pretty high on that list.....

Terms of the deal are 4/24, 6 mill per year.
That's not a bad deal at all for the team and not much more than Gentry was making.
