Best comment by talking heads: Zion passed Ben Simmons in career 3s.

Zion showed us a lot in those minutes. The 3s show he has a commitment to every part of his game.
I thouht he was going to be great but if he can keep that touch from the outside, he will be one of the greatest.

Yeah but I think that’s the most kinda similar comparison is Simmons. He’s a small center that can run the point and gives great effort. Although, Zion is shorter but bigger and he’s more explosive and a better shooter (or at least will shoot the ball) than Simmons.

If Zion hits 35% or more from 3, he is literally unguardable.

Agreed. Although, I think he’s going to be around 32% his first few years. However, I think it will improve every year as he works on it (like most young players).
But I do know to never doubt this guy! He maybe at freakin 40% next year.

Lebron is the closest comparison. For all of his size, Simmons is kind of a finesse player without a jumpshot. His seeming unwillingness to put in extra work on that part of his game is what will keep him out of the elite tier. I'm not sure he has the drive and competitiveness to become elite, either.
